Methodology

RThe renovation of your staircase takes 1 or 2 days. Renovating you staircase with LamiGarant® (laminate stair cladding) takes 1 day and if you choose a real wood staircase renovation, it will take 2 days. The wood stair cladding is coloured with oil that needs to dry, hence it takes longer. And we want you to be able to safely use your staircase in the evening.

Appointment for a staircase renovation

Before you make a decision, Reno Stairs® would gladly visit you at home to show various materials and colour options. Furthermore our staff members will make a specified quote after seeing your staircase, as each staircase is different.

Assembly of a staircase renovation

The first step during assembly is cleaning the staircase and doing some preparatory work. The next step is to measure the existing treads with a staircase measurement device and then the fitters can start the marking out and sawing of the stair cladding.

Once the stair cladding is sawn to measure, it is fixed to the existing staircase. This is done using colour coordinated and noise damping Reno Stairs® fixing and finishing kit..

The hall, landing and the wainscots (sides of stairs) can also be included in the job.

After completing the renovation of your staircase, everything is cleaned and tidied up and you can use your renovated staircase right away!
